Who said Monday nights in Cape Town have to be boring?

Everybody knows that there are countless things to do in Cape Town. The Mothercity is known for its arts, culture, theatres and events. However, Monday nights can be a bit quiet.

Not anymore!Doccie-fanatics, film-lovers and independent film-makers: get your diaries, because you need to write this one down! Monday night : DOCLOVE-night in Observatory.

DOCLOVE is an initiative from the Documentary Filmmakers Association (DFA), to promote the genre of documentary and to create a platform for aspiring documentary makers, docu-lovers and veteran documentary filmmakers. It's an opportunity to meet, greet and watch.

DOCLOVE-nights take place every Monday night, from 19:00, in intimate Obz Cafe, Observatory, Cape Town. Each documentary is followed by a question-and-answer session with the director; your chance to ask about the content, techniques and background of the film. Afther the question-and-answer session, you can enjoy your wine, coffee or beer in Obz Cafe and network, exchange ideas or just simply relax!
