Braai? Ja, nee definitief

24th September 2011 South African National Braai Day aka Heritage Day and what are you gonna do? Braai of course. What about a braai in the winelands? How about a braai in the winelands that’s braaied for you?  How about a braai that’s braaied for you plus a big screen TV to show the Frenchies hopefully repeat their epic 1999 Rugby World Cup semi final performance and whollop the All Blacks.

The Backsberg Braai Special is simple enough – for R45 you get a salad (with all the trimmings not just some lettuce and a flick of dressing), potato salad and a braai broodtjie. Then there will be an assortment of meats and fish which you can buy and that will then be braaied for you.

Backsberg Wine Estate will also be celebrating Arbor month on the day by giving you the opportunity to give something back and plant a tree.

National Braai Day is that much better spent out in the public so that you and your friends can meet fellow South Africans and celebrate your common heritage.
