Seal Snorkeling Special with Into The Blue Scuba Dive Centre
Snorkel with seals and receive a 10% discount when mentioning CapeTownMagazine.com
Snorkeling with the Mother City’s famed Cape fur seal is almost as much of a must-do – for both locals and visitors – as it is to ascend the Cape’s majestic Table Mountain or visit her esteemed V&A Waterfront. And now, thanks to scuba diving experts in the biz, Into The Blue Scuba Dive Centre, swimming with the eminent sea-creatures has just become a whole lot more affordable.
All you have to do is mention CapeTownMagazne.com when booking and you’ll receive a 10% discount. The special is available during the week only.
Ideal for non-divers – especially since no prior diving experience is required – snorkeling with seals is an exciting and adventurous experience that the whole family can enjoy. Although notorious for being somewhat lazy and sluggish – not to mention, a little grumpy – on land, under the ocean’s surface seals are well-known for transforming into playful, agile acrobats known for twisting, turning and twirling with one another. What’s more, as most seal action typically takes place within the top five metres of the sea, snorkelers are able to watch, swim and interact with the spirited animals from above being 100% part of the energetic action.
Recognised as one of the most curious and inquisitive sea creatures around, snorkelers are in for a treat as seals are known to swim very close, intrigued by foreign species in their natural habitat and sometimes even stop to blow bubbles and bark, making for a more spectacular wildlife experience.
Into The Blue Scuba Dive Centre is a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors)-certified premier dive shop located in Sea Point that offers snorkelers and divers an array of exciting ocean excursions and diving courses. Choose from snorkelling with seals and swimming through kelp forest to diving with blue and mako sharks and exploring forgotten shipwrecks.
With a key focus on quality, safety and customer interaction, Into The Blue prides itself on offering divers with some of the best sea-fun in the Cape. What’s more, with a maximum of five clients per one Into The Blue PADI-certified dive master, each snorkeler or diver is accounted for and can expect nothing less than a whale of a time exploring Cape Town’s majestic coastline and all its underwater natural wonderments.
Tick ‘snorkeling with seals’ off your Mother City to-do list and book your Into The Blue experience today. Just don’t forget to mention CapeTownMagazine.com!
