Let Loose Before the Election Lines at a Voting Party with Havoc

“Democratically-elected craft beer”, live music and smokehouse treats, the day before the elections.

The elections take place on 8 May, making the day a public holiday. However, if you’re one of the voting public, you’ll be spending a long time in a line, and may not be able to use the day for the “other things” public holidays are good for.

Well, the guys from the Borderline Project and Havoc Tap and Grill are changing this by hosting a Voting Party the night before, so that you can still use your public holiday to change the country, because you had a good time the night before.

WHAT’S THE VOTING PARTY MANIFESTO
The voting party lives by a simple manifesto: music, craft beer and smokehouse treats. In this case ,the music comes from an eclectic mix of session musicians called the Borderline Project.
Craft beer includes the inhouse Havoc brew, Woodstock Breweries and Hoogeberg.

MORE ABOUT THE BORDERLINE PROJECT
The Borderline Project is a band started by a group of musicians who wanted to do their favourite songs in a different way. They play a mix of originals and cover songs in styles that include folk rock, jazz, blues and reggae.
For the voting party they’ll be joined by Johan Liebenberg (guitar and vocals), who does a mean Neil Diamond and has played to capacity crowds.

REGISTERING TO VOTING PARTY
Entry to Havoc is free, you can book your spot by calling +27 (0)21 975 2546, or you can just rock up and grab a seat, or stand if there are none.
