Harvest Picnic at Ashton Winery

Have some delicious eats al fresco

On Saturday, 11 March 2017 Ashton Winery, as a part of the Hands on Harvest Festival in Robertson, are offering a delicious picnic experience for the whole family! You’ll be treated to some scrumptious treats, all packed into a charming basket to be enjoyed on the lush lawns of Ashton Winery in Robertson.

Their wine range is extensive and enjoyable to all wine consumers. They have the Ashton Winery Range which includes Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Red Muscadel. They also have a sparkling rose; Bonica Vin Doux.

For the appreciators of really fine wine, they also offer the Reserve Range and the Satyn Range. The Reserve Range includes the 2015 Limited Release Chardonnay, 2015 Red Muscadel and the 2015 Roodewal Reserve. These wines are all limited release, and have been very well received. The Satyn Range includes Satyn Wit, Satyn Rooi, Satyn Perle and Satyn Rose. Their Wit is a crisp and refreshing white blend, their Rooi is a velvet-esce and unwooded red blend, the Perle is a fizzy and vibrant MCC and their rose is delightfully pink, with hints of turkish delight.

At the picnic you will receive a basket filled with:

A selection of cold meats
A selection of cheeses
Two ciabatta
Olives
Chicken liver pate
Bottle of wine

The kiddies basket will contain:

Croissant with filling
Grape juice
Packet of chips
Packet of nuts
Lollipop
A toy

BOOKINGS FOR THE 2017 HARVEST PICNIC AT ASHTON WINERY

Bookings for this event can be made online by emailing the organisers at info@ashtonwinery.co.za. For a basket for two people, the experience is R250, and for a kids picnic basket it will cost R75p/p. The picnic starts at 10am.
