Gallery One 11 Summer Exhibition

Catch these local and international artists showcasing their work at this Loop Street studio

Loop Street’s Gallery One 11 presents their series of summer exhibitions, running until Saturday 20 January 2018. Be sure not to miss a summer of discovery and artistic expression.

The participating artists come from all walks of life. Amongst them is Gideon Appah from Ghana, who specialises in urban art which expresses his enchantment with media and popular culture. In 2015 he was awarded the First Merit Award by Barclays L’Atelier.
From South Africa, showcasing her work at this exhibition is Greta McMahon. This award-winning artist has participated in a number of group and solo showcases within South Africa, Ireland, Holland, USA, UK, and Norway.
Capetonian Kilmany-Jo Liversage creates art that blurs the lines between fine art and graffiti. She is inspired by the renaissance-era portraiture and believes merging graffiti or urban art allows her to update and challenge the art of painting - this allows her to create bright and colourful large scale paintings inducing street art and the future.
