Friday Lunch Sorted: Lekker Braai At Cartel's Coworking Cafe
End off the working week with a braai under the umbrellas in Green Point – food's ready at midday
Cartel Coworking Cafe co-owner Roland Ncube says that although his space is optimised for productivity, it’s “also more of a chill office”. So on Fridays, when you smell the smoke from the Traeger grill, you know that the weekend has finally arrived and a feast is about to be served.
FILL UP YOUR PLATE
On Fridays, Cartel Coworking Cafe prepares a braai, the food is ready at midday and the braai ends when the food is gone. The grill master chooses a set menu for the day with three meat options to go with the salads. All the meals are wood smoked with a variety of oak, cherry, hickory, and maple wood flavours.
ADD A DRINK
They have coffees, of course, but you can also order a craft beer or health juice (perhaps a Beetroot Boost to detox). Choose a seat inside the cafe, or catch some sun (or sit under an umbrella) in their elegant outside area.
WALK ON IN
The cafe sits inside the co-working offices of Ideas Cartel, which has some of the the coolest luxury meeting spaces and co-working office solutions in Cape Town. It’s a unique city office environment created by Inner City | Ideas Cartel.
