Michael Jackson was an immensely talented artist, taken from the world far too soon. In celebration of his life and his multi-award winning music, the Artscape Theatre is playing host to a tribute concert for the King of Pop. From Thursday, 19 January to Sunday, 29 January 2017, die-hard fans can reminisce to the sounds of history-making music.

The year 2017 will mark eight years since Michael Jackson’s tragic death, and the music industry has felt his absence ever since. Just like Elvis, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix and Amy Winehouse, Jackson stands as an icon for his era of music. He contributed more than anyone could measure to much more than just music, influencing fashion, dance, and the ongoing fight for equality between races. 

The very talented Michael Jackson impersonator, Dantanio, will headline the show, performing some of Jackson’s most loved contributions to the world of pop. The show will cover his entire career from a member of the Jackson 5, the start of his solo career circa 1971 all the way to the musical powerhouse he became in the 21st century.
