Tapas at Caveau

Wind down on a Friday

End off the week in style with friends at Caveau in Heritage Square. Their tapas and wine menu; plus the central location make this the perfect early evening spot.

Sit outside on the terrace, and watch the city’s characters flow past; or inside where soft seating makes sinking in and getting stuck in unavoidable. There’s also a central courtyard, which boasts Cape Town’s oldest grape vine.

Speaking of wine, Caveau has an extensive wine list organised by ‘mood and context’ and not variety. There are ‘food friendly wines’, ‘unusual finds’, and much more.

Snack on delicious morsels like the crispy prawns with sweet chilli or the pan friend baby octopus and wash them down with the fantastic wines on offer. This is the perfect way to wind down after a long week.
