The lovely folks at the Franschhoek Wine Valley offices have heeded the public’s demand: the Franschhoek Mystery Weekends are back for 2015! This time around, the offering has been taken up a notch so that each weekend follows a theme – June’s one, for example, is just for the ladies. The popular events invite locals and tourists alike to explore the French Huguenot town under the guidance of the region’s tourism bureau.
What that means is that the Franschhoek Wine Valley office takes all the drag out of organising a romantic, jam-packed weekend away by simply doing it for you. You merely need to sign up and pay, and then the good people in the know will use their knowledge and expertise to reserve a space for you at a gorgeous accommodation, organise mystery local experiences and set up breakfasts, lunches and dinners (all of which remain undisclosed until the day of arrival).
So, chuck your B&B book in the bin, throw caution to the wind and allow the professionals to fret over the details while you enjoy an amazing weekend in the Winelands.
DATE FOR THE 2015 FRANSCHHOEK MYSTERY WEEKEND: EPISODE TWO
In short, the Franschhoek Mystery Package is a chance for an escape with a whole lot of intrigue and not a single bit of fuss. Fly solo for only R1800p/p or take your bestie and share accommodation for R3300 per couple (transfers are not included). Enjoy a wonderful stay in the Winelands, meals, a number of activities and, as if that wasn’t enough suspense, a mystery surprise experience.
Guests not only get the opportunity to explore one of Mzansi’s gourmet hubs and popular wine destinations, but also to experience the region in a completely new light.
