POWER Presents Conversations with Leaders

Every woman could benefit from a little POWER

P.O.W.E.R (Propagation of Women’s Empowerment Resources) is hosting a three-course dinner to bring together women and industry leaders for an intimate evening of mentorship and networking. Seize the opportunity to learn from the best minds in business, medicine and social involvement amongst many topics, at the next Conversations with Leaders session at the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront on Thursday, 28 July 2016. 

This occasion will see some of the great South African minds discuss their various fields, with the intent to pass on valuable knowledge and a little inside information wouldn't go amiss too. 

The founders of this non-profit organisation, Kissmea Naude and Rudeiba Rasool, established POWER in November of 1996 when the female population were unsure of their role in the new South Africa, post 1994.  

Conversations will be led by Doctor Darren Green, Deputy Director of the Department of Women in the Presidency Berniece Muthien and Colin Coleman, Managing Director and Partner at Goldman Sachs Investment Bank in the region of Sub-Saharan Africa.. 

Doctor Green is a well-known multimedia medical doctor, leading discussions on the National Health Channel, Expresso Morning Show and SABC3’s Doctors Orders Panel and is also  the Primedia Health and Wellness Expert on 567Cape Talk and 94.5KFM. His weekly medical columns appear in the Cape Argus and the Daily News. He is also the Director of Green Keys to Health corporate wellness programme and a national ambassador for the JAG Foundation, Sunflower Fund and Movember campaign. 

Esteemed guest  Berniece Muthien will be tackling the issues that women face in modern South Africa. The most important discussion for any South African woman is how to tackle to obstacles placed in their way.  

The key-note speaker is Colin Coleman. This business magnate knows all there is to know about the world of business and he will be imparting his knowledge on how to survive the current South African economic climate.
