Half-Price Sundays at Cape Town Comedy Club
Laugh 50% off top-notch entertainment every last day of the week at this one-stop-funny-shop
Attention all comedy enthusiasts! If you are fan of top-notch entertainment and first-rate stand-up then this one is for you…
Every Sunday, Cape Town Comedy Club invites all to roar with laughter at their last show of the week for half the price. Instead of paying the usual weekend price of R120p/p, Sunday-show attendees will now only pay R60p/p on selected shows.
Located at the historical landmark, The Pumphouse at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town Comedy Club doesn’t only showcase some of the best comedic performances the world has to offer but also acts as a platform for up-and-coming comics to earn their joker-stripes. With a wide range of both local and international comedians, the devoted stand-up venue sees a different line-up every week, where four funny men and/or women take to the spotlight-lit stage to strut-their-stuff.
Audiences can expect to see the likes of Marc Lottering, Rob van Vuuren and Dalin Oliver (to name but a only few jokers), along with other various open-micers and promising comedic stars. Guest acts – such as Conrad Koch/ Chester Missing and Carl Weber – have also been known to delight viewers with their wit and charm on selected nights.
In addition to this world class comedic entertainment, guests can also enjoy the complete dinner-and-a-show experience by ordering from the club’s in-house restaurant. Diners can expect to find a variety of yummy foodie options including chilli poppers, chicken wings, calamari and grills as well as the ever-popular 'Jou Ma Se Burger' and the 'Jou Ma Se Gatsby', which is our own version of the popular Cape Town gatsby: a half-sized baguette filled with lamb … and all the trimmings.
So, make sure you end your weekend the funny way and keep you – and your pockets – happy and laughing at Cape Town Comedy Club’s Half Price Sundays.
