Bright Talks: Marketing & Advertising Seminars

Industry gurus divulge trade secrets and get the cogs turning at this jam-packed evening info-session

The series of ‘lite’ seminars regularly showers attendees with expert advice and unique insight into the marketing and advertising industry from its seat at the Bright Creative Space (opposite The Old Biscuit Mill).

The next Bright Talk takes place on Wednesday, 22 April 2015 with a strong focus on what it takes to start your own agency. The audience will hear from three experienced and inspired entrepreneurs in the media world:

• Trevor Wolfe, MD and Head of Commercialisation for Springleap
• Adelaide Potgieter, Founder of MadWorld
• Ross Chowles, Co-founder and ECD of The Jupiter Drawing Room Cape Town

With the collective wisdom of three of the industry’s top whizz-kids, you can be sure that this session is going to be one to remember. If you’re seeking to join the world of agency starter-uppers then you can’t afford to miss this talk!

Brainchild of The Jupiter Drawing Room Executive Creative Director and co-founder Ross Chowles (who’ll also be speaking), the two-hour seminar aspires to revolutionise peoples’ approach to marketing.

“I looked to TED Talks for inspiration – like them, I want these events to stimulate, educate and inspire. However, while TED topics are broad, Bright Talks will be exclusively for the marketing industry,” explains Chowles. “I want people to leave a different person to the one that they arrived as”.

So, whether you’re a marketing professional in the corporate world or a newbie at a boutique advertising agency, you’re sure to leave considerably more in the know.
