Beer and Carols at Fat Harry's

Get into the festive feeling with beer and singing!

Shops may have had their Christmas decorations up since October, but the rest of us prefer to limit the festive feeling to December only. Fat Harry’s have waited until Wednesday, 7 December 2016 to unleash their Beer and Carols event which consists of, you guessed it, beer and carols!

Fat Harry’s has a smorgasbord of beer on offer including Brewers&Union, Brew Dog, CBC, Darling Brew and Devils Peak. That’s not all folks; there are more local beers on offer and even two Belgian beers - Duvel and Vedette Extra White. These traditionally brewed proudly Belgian beers are an amazing accompaniment to any of Fat Harry’s delicious burgers.

Want a personal recommendation? Well, you’re getting one anyway – the Hoola Burger. I know that pineapple on savoury stuff isn’t for everyone, but I would like it noted that you’re all wrong. If you are feeling spicy, why not try the Jalapeno burger? It’s stuffed with fresh jalapenos and cream cheese. Yum!

The doors to the event open at 7pm, and the carols are scheduled to commence at 8pm. That gives you a full hour to get to the optimal ‘I can totally sing’ level of alcohol consumption. You’ll be able to belt it out for a full hour and a half when the carols will draw to a close, and the drinking can pick up again!
