Calling all trail running enthusiasts to participate in a demanding yet enjoyable route through vineyards and forests

The Cape Times Lourensford Vineyard Run is yet another premier event brought to you by the organisers of the Absa Cape Epic. The Cape Times Lourensford Vineyard Run is an annual one-day trail running race that coincides with the final day of this legendary stage race. The finish location at Lourensford boasts an ideal venue for trail runners of all levels to join into the excitement of the last day of the Absa Cape Epic.

The challenging 12km trail run provides participants with beautiful vistas and climbs through the idyllic and picturesque Lourensford Estate. The route is entirely off-road and offers some testing climbs and costs R80p/p.

The shorter 6km trail run is ideal for the up and coming trail runner, giving runners the opportunity to test their skills through the lower levels of the Lourensford Vineyards and costs R40p/p.

The Cape Times Lourensford Vineyard Run sees a shared finish venue with the Absa Cape Epic and the MTN Vigne à Vigne. All race routes will remain separate from one another and the buzzing atmosphere and hive of activity surrounding these three events promises to leave participants and supporters fully indulged by their day of fun and entertainment at Lourensford.
